Microsoft says Yahoo !!!!!!

I was reading an article in msn.com the other day. After going back to homepage the news hit me. Microsoft has made a bid to yahoo. Wow!!!! so now what it be called "Yacrosoft" ???

As far as I remember Yahoo has a very big hand in popularizing internet in India. I remember Shammi Kapoor as the person behind the India picture of Yahoo. My first email id is also from Yahoo. :)

When I started my work as web designer, I used to follow lot of stuffs made by yahoo. I used to follow the marketing strategies and there idea of showing advertisements in the homepage. Yes, they have lost some of there old charm which was so relevant in those days. It was the pioneer in lots of things now which other big sites are trying to incorporate.

Now the race is going on to outdo the bid. Google is trying hard to take over the site. Whatever happens I hope it happens best for the users like me. As original Yahoo will always hold some special place in our hearts.
